We seriously can not make this stuff up. I already forgot to move the Elf on the Shelf. Matthew came downstairs 15 minutes early this morning. He said he wanted to go look for the elf. Brian and I looked at each other in a panic. Neither of us had moved the elf. Darn it. Matthew was instructed to go get hugs from Daddy while I ran out of the bedroom to grab the elf and move it. Elf was moved into his new spot in the TV cabinet naivety .2 seconds before Matthew appeared in the living room.
I see pictures that friends post on Facebook of their elves playing games, making cookies, and getting in trouble. Our elf IS the trouble. ugh. We suck at this game. I better start thinking of Sophie’s birthday surprise soon because that is the only time our Elf does anything different. He is an Elf on a Shelf after all … not an Elf of all games or Elf of baking. If I can find one of those Toll House elf’s, I will get one. I have some baking that needs to be done this month! 😉
How is your elf doing? Hope you are ready to play along as we try to make it through the month! How does the The Elf on the Shelf work at your house? Check on where Kingston was this year with the Kingston 2014 tag here!
