Thanks to Tuttorosso Tomatoes for making this post possible. I received a complimentary gift pack for writing this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Nothing says Sunday supper quite like a great big pot of Sunday sauce. This month, Tuttorosso is giving cooks in every kitchen the opportunity to “Celebrate the Sauce.”
We try to eat at the table every night, but weeknights tend to be pretty rushed. There is something special about dinner on Sunday. We are a little more relaxed, we have a little more time to make something special, and we’re more likely to spend that time together. When we finally sit down and dig into a slow-cooked sauce, we all know that the time is worth it and my wife and I know that these are the times that the kids will look back on when they get older.
I typically use canned tomatoes for my sauces and my go to brand is Tuttorosso. Tuttorosso tomatoes are grown right here in the good ole United States in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. The 85-year-old company has been family-owned and -operated for three generations now! I feel pretty good about supporting a company like that. Since food and family are so important to Tuttorosso, they want to make sure that we are taking time to share a meal with our families.
And so, Tuttorosso has launched a new website, complete with recipes, inspirational ideas, and stories from home cooks like you! To help Celebrate the Sauce even more, Tuttorosso is hosting a brand new promotion. Through December 23, Tuttorosso is giving away 1,000 aprons each week, a daily drawing of one heirloom wooden spoon, and one grand prize, a Martha Stewart cookware set!!
