Thanks to ScoopNYC for making this post possible. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
We’ve all been there. You need to go out shopping for that special Valentine’s Day present, but there never seems to be enough time. You tell yourself that tomorrow’s the day, but tomorrow becomes the weekend, then next week, and then, suddenly, you’re totally behind the eight ball with no time left to shop. Flowers and candy again, right?
In this day and age, the internet is definitely your friend for last minute shopping. You can find some simply amazing deals on high end, luxury items. For example, fashion costs, but what lady doesn’t want (or deserve, for that matter) a runway-esque outfit or accessory? And ladies, who among you wouldn’t kill to see your guy in that fancy new dress shirt?
Thankfully, we can have a little taste of that life while still shopping on a budget. ScoopNYC is currently running their Ultimate Closet Warehouse sale. You can save 50% off of already reduced prices, resulting in overall savings of up to 80%! I found a $180 dress shirt for $55. That’s not much more than my typical dress shirts cost. It’s taking all of my willpower not to spring for it right now! Beth looked around and found a $75 pair of shoes for $30 and a $400 cardigan that cost $80! Even $80 is more than she normally spends, but a little splurge for quality that will last several seasons is always worth it!
SimplyBudgeted is not always about doing stuff cheaply. Sometimes budgeting means spending your money wisely. If you can purchase an item of clothing that will outlast 3 or 4 cheaper ones, you’ve just saved yourself a bundle. If you can get that item at a massive discount, then you might have earned yourself some accessories to go along with it!
Head over to ScoopNYC to see what you can find. There’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to find a treat for you and your sweetie that is a heckuva lot nicer than candy and flowers!
