As I said last night, the kids kept looking for our Elf on the Shelf in our room. We stole their idea and Brian put our dear elf, Kingston, in the first thing he saw in our room. My childhood lamp/nightlight that sites on my dresser not plugged in.
I failed to show you the full dresser top because it is a complete mess. I was going to clean it yesterday but I took a two … or was it three hour nap trying to feel better. I don’t know that I feel better as I am still losing my voice. I blame my mother on the ability to lose my voice when I am sick. I am sure the kids will appreciate this … the people I work with maybe not so much.
As for Kingston, he needs help. Sophie’s birthday is in two days and I don’t what I want to do. December 11th is my one over the top Elf on the Shelf day … if I even have one In 2011, he put up streamers. Last year Kingston was tired and only landed on the fan blade in the living room. No idea for this year. I must get on this because well I have to do all this craziness tomorrow night and I am willing myself to not be sick.
Maybe tomorrow our Elf on the Shelf, Kingston, can be more creative than today. Maybe. There is always hope but thankfully no more rotten fruit!
