As I was posting last night’s Elf on the Shelf status, I heard Brian say he moved Kingston to an easy spot. I was just thrilled the elf was moved at night time and not during breakfast time. Sure enough it was an easy spot … the empty vase on the bar. It took Sophie about 30 seconds to find Kingston. The other kids were too busy running around to actually look. So here he is …
Yes, I keep zooming in on these pictures because the house is still not fully picked up from our recent travels. Oh and today Sophie wanted to know why Christmas decorations weren’t up when we promised them for her birthday. They are coming kiddo … be happy we found your elf. Oh wait, I can’t say that. I will give myself credit for putting the elf on the shelf in our closet and not in the crawlspace. If it was with the Christmas decorations, who knows when it would show up. Well I guess before Sophie’s birthday but that would be a big stretch even for lazy elf mover me!
Maybe we should try to pull out Christmas decorations tomorrow. That will give us more lazy places to put the elf. I see benefits already … hmmmm. I will let you know tomorrow if we make it out to buy a tree or not. For now, enjoy the fact that either you don’t have an Elf on the Shelf or you are out doing our house already by not being lazy on day 2 of the elf moving job.
Want to join in this craziness? Get your own The Elf on the Shelf . Or better yet, send one to your brother or sister or anyone you know with kids. Their kids will fall in love and they will want to hurt you every Christmas season. It is probably worth it … or so my sister seems to think!
Follow along with Kingston this year with the Kingston 2013 tag here! Where is your Elf on the Shelf? Leave me a comment and let me know because I apparently really need ideas!
