This Elf on the Shelf placement is a repeat. He has been here before yet he is here again. Of course, Brian didn’t dust up there before he shoved Elf on the Shelf up there. He needs more dusting lessons … that is Brian not the Elf on the Shelf. If the Elf on the Shelf dusted, I would keep in year round just because of that but he doesn’t earn his keep so his time is limited. Anyway when the kids found dear Kingston up there this morning Brian says “he is hanging with the chicks up there”. Sophie says “No, he isn’t. There are no chickens up there.” Funny, Sophie. Brian then told Sophie Kingston was hanging with the ladies. She was willing to agree to that and left our room. I edited this picture old school Polaroid looking since these dolls are mine from when we use Polaroids all of the time. Man that film was expensive!
So today we learned that hanging with the chicks isn’t something that the cool kids say. We also learned that we need to dust more.
Good news is that Kingston is moved for tomorrow. Brian was going to leave him in our room but I protested. I can hear the kids complaining now that he is too hard to find … hopefully they find him before the bus comes because they are so going to school tomorrow … the last day of school before break. We will need a vacation after this break!
