Brian had hiding duty for the Elf on the Shelf once again. Kudos for hiding him before bed … because the 5:20 am hiding is the worst! He put Elf on the Shelf, Kingston, behind the new reposition recipe holder on the counter. Brian once again rearranged the counters in the kitchen. There is on them so that makes them better in my book. I really hate cluttered counters and ours were getting cluttered. So here is Elf on the Shelf …
Now if I was one of those too much time … errr creative type Elf on the Shelf moms, I would have given Kingston his own recipe in the recipe holder. duh! How perfect would that have been?! It would have been great to be honest. Thankfully my kids don’t realize that some Elf on the Shelf elves do amazing things each night and don’t just hide. If you are the one that tells them this, I think we will hunt you down … at 5:20 am when we are just remembering to move Kingston. I am up already, right?!
I had a great idea for tomorrow and now I can’t find Sophie’s party note. Darn it. The kids cleaned the living room before bed and now the note is missing. Yes, I dug through the trash for it. She hid it! errrr.
The kids have informed me multiple times already today that there are only 9 days until Christmas. YAY only 9 more days of Elf on the Shelf. I think there should be an Elf on the Shelf survival party for parents on Christmas Eve … it should totally involve wine and chocolate cake. What do you think?
