So here we are with Week 4 of the Just Dance Just Sweat Dream Team. This is post number 3 and, to be honest, it keeps feeling harder and harder to keep up any sort of routine. The kids get home from school and need snack, help with homework, then you start dinner, eat, clean up, bathtime, bedtime. Then, as bloggers, we finally get some quality time to sit and actually work! Who has time to plug in Just Dance 4?
With young kids, it just feels impossible to set up a routine sometimes. Maybe, when they are older and we don’t have to keep a constant eye on them, we’ll have better luck. We do, however, try to make it a point to include them in our fun from time to time. It is definitely much easier on Friday evenings or during the weekends. There is no reason that we can’t do relays outside using bear walks, crab walks, frog jumps, etc. There is also no reason that they can’t join in the dancing fun when we turn on Just Dance 4. Just check out this video of me dancing with my kiddos tonight!
We look pretty ridiculous. Ok, I look pretty ridiculous. The kids are adorable! They kept asking to do more videos until, finally, it was time for them to go to bed! Their favorite part? The silly videos the game aggregates that do just make us all look a little crazy!
The nice thing about all of this is that, even though we have had a tough time keeping up with our routine, we still manage to get our exercise in through having some just plain fun with our kiddos. That plus a pretty good diet plan has put me down to 233…almost 10 lbs lighter than when we started this thing! Beth is down a little more than 4. I am just so proud of the effort that she is putting in. ‘Til next time!

we love these games too, especially in the winter when we can’t always get outside to work off the energy
