Last week, in Great Value Goodies for the Thanksgiving Holiday, I introduced you to Great Value refrigerated dough and gave you a few recipes that you can use over the holiday season to entertain your guests. This week, I’d like to show you what I did with my treats once I made them.
I mentioned last week that I regularly have meetings with several of the guys from my church. Sometimes, I get a Thursday night and a Friday morning back to back and I need to make sure that I have something for each meeting. For my evening group, I made up some Mini Pecan Pies. I baked them up ahead of time and brought a can of whipped cream to top them. They were easy two-bite snacks and a nice little sweet for a late evening.
On Friday morning, I was glad to have the Easy Monkey Bread and Breakfast Pigs in a Blanket prepped in the fridge and ready to go. Ordinarily, we have bagels and cream cheese, some fruit, maybe some donuts, or something pretty easily gotten that doesn’t have to be baked in the morning. The guys were happy to have something fresh and warm to fill their bellies before starting their days. Beth was actually pretty disappointed when I got home because they wound up eating so much of the monkey bread!

We usually keep holiday breakfast simple with something like cinnamon rolls but the monkey bread idea sounds great too.
