We often make date nights an at home occasion because that makes date nights budget friendly. A movie, a bag of popcorn, and the kids all in bed make for a great at home date night at our house!
We love to watch movies and will take any excuse to watch them. While we often go for a new release at the Redbox, we also love to watch classic movies. I admit that Brian is a bigger classic movie buff than me. My classic movie love is admittedly limited to The Sound of Music. Brian on the other hand loves Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, and Ben-Hur. He can list off classic movies like he can remember lyrics to songs. Just give him a category such as classic casino movies or classic musical movies and see what he comes up with. The only time I can have any advantage in a movie naming challenge is if the movies were released in the late ’90s. You see, that is when I worked at the movie theater in town so I had an advantage of knowing what was out and watching a lot of new movies those years! Maybe one of these days, I will catch up on classic movie watching through our at home date nights. Until then, I will have to keep sneaking in late ’90s movies so I can be familiar with what I am watching every once and awhile!
What is your favorite movie category for movie nights? Do you have at home movie date nights? Leave us a comment and let us know!
