Brian decided to run a 5k back in June. It was to support the Wounded Warrior Project. A good cause and one close to home for him. He then decided he should get better running shape and I was CRAZY and decided to support him as he did the Couch to 5k program. Here is where I mention I don’t run … well I didn’t. It only took me 3.5 months and a lot of repeated weeks but I finished that program. Brian decided that wasn’t enough of a challenge and decided to train for a half marathon (I am supportive but not running with him … my skills are not near that good!) So …
Here is me after finishing my last run in the Couch to 5k program … (look I wasn’t even dead!) Now I need to work on my distance being a 5k … I am at about 2.6 miles …
Here is Brian after finishing his 10k run last Saturday. I forgot to take a picture before he changed clothes but he ran about an 11 minute mile that race. Not bad for a 30-something beat up Army guy trying to get back into running! 🙂
Let me know where your Wordless Wednesday post is …

That is awesome for both of you! I tried to Couch to 5K program and failed miserably – shin splints, twisted knee, etc. I’m just a walking hazard LOL
Cheryl says
So glad you weren’t even dead! Heck… I’m just trying to get into a walking program and that’s hard enough. Good job!
Happy WW!
