Friday Favorites is another almost weekly feature here at Simply Living on a Budget. The whole point of this feature is to share some of my favorite finds. Anything is game. Food. Cleaning supplies. Kid stuff. Garden favorites. Recipes. Anything that I really like and want to randomly post about. Everything in Friday Favorites is something that I use and bought on my own.
Old fashioned popcorn popper cooks 2 quarts of corn at a time. 3″ depth, 9″ diameter, 28″ overall length. Steel w/food grade high temp enamel coating. Works good for chestnuts too. Made by family camping cookware specialists, Rome Industries.
My thoughts …
My girls picked this out as daddy’s Christmas present. They saw the popcorn on the box when we went to pick up a last minute gift. I knew I wasn’t going to get away with not getting so I gave in. We have used it several times now. It is so good. Goodbye microwave popcorn! We never ate much of it but now it is gone for sure. We will use this all winter for sure. In the summer I will just make it on the stove.
Oh and it is easy to clean. I know this first hand since I seem to be designated cleaner. aye. Seriously the best popcorn though … and that is coming from a movie theater popcorn junkie!
You can find this at Amazon and Plow and Hearth. I admit we scored it about half price at the Plow and Hearth Outlet!;)
