Did you miss the post in September on Holiday Budget Planning? If so, go check it out now! Last month I wrote about Tax Increase Budget Readiness so check that out too. It is better to be prepared than to be caught off guard!
I debated on this month’s topic a lot and decided to discuss “A Thankful Budget”. A Thankful Budget doesn’t have to be one where you share every extra dime you have. It might be but it might also be the fact that you are able to live in your budget. Maybe you are able to share with a neighbor or contribute to a food drive.
How is your budget a thankful budget?
- We love to open our home to others for gatherings. While that doesn’t seem like much it is a meal and a social time for everyone who gathers.
- We strive to contribute to local food and gift drives. This is a great lesson in giving for our children.
- We are able to tip those that provide us services all year during this holiday season.
- We are able to keep our family, house, vehicles, and lives running on our budget. I admit that some months are harder than others but it does work out.
Let me know how your budget is a thankful budget I would love to learn from you how we can make our own budget more thankful!
