It is Mamavation Monday time again!I am completely lacking creativity this week so that is why the catchy tag-line is missing. I was so sick yesterday but still took the girls to a birthday party down the street. I fully admit that NyQuil was the best part of last night. I am pleased to be feeling a million times better but I wish I could re-do my Sunday and not have to start Monday.
I am happy to report that balance ball DVDs showed up on Friday. I did one of the workouts on Saturday night. My husband joined me during that one. It really stretched the spine out and he said he could feel that for sure. oh how I missed the balance ball. I am excited to get started on this new plan.
Speaking of the new plan … I am still working on my plan as to when I will do my workouts. I can report that we did get our dinners planned this week. We have missed doing that for about a month or so and we really missed it. So all that being said, no real plan yet but I hope to figure one out soon. As for weigh-ins, I am stuck. I know I need my new plan to get unstuck so that is my motivation to work on this. Keep watching as I try to figure out to make this happen in my life.
Oh and I am still interested in healthy dinner ideas … meat, vegetarian, vegan, whatever recipes! I am going to start featuring recipes more here so if you send one along, I will provide credit back to you!=)

I applied to be a mamavation mom! My post is on my blog at rebeccaruns26.blogspot.com
I can relate to nyquil being the best part of being sick sometimes, and I know about wanting another day in the weekend, not wanting to start with Monday.
How are the workouts with the balance ball? We had one (the dog popped it!) and all we did was stretch on it, use it for a desk chair and let the girls bounce on it. Can you really get in a good workout on it?

Mmmmm balance balls! I love them. I use one for my office chair. My core is so much stronger now and my back gets a nice stretch any time I want. Good luck this week.

I'm intrigued by the balance ball! Will have to check it out. Is that those giant exercise balls? Do you lean over backwards? Could you post a link?
We've been making pizzas. You can get a 4-pizza pack of dough at Costco, not sure if you have one near you. We used jarred sauce and then just figure out what to have on top. we had mushrooms and onions one day, another day we had goat cheese and olives, tonight we had mushroom an red pepper.
it's healthy but probably more so if you have with a salad or some other veggies. We had a huge salad and I had only one piece of the pizza.
Look forward to you posting the recipes you get because i need some too!

Can't use it at my computer b/c I use a laptop and don't have a desk… Got any links with ideas??? I hate feeling sick, so I'm glad to hear you are feeling better! Good luck this week 🙂 I know you will do great!!!

Ooooo — I have a balance ball. In my room. My daughter plays with it.
(that's not good is it)
Congrats on getting them in and I'm glad you guys are enjoying them.
Are you feeling better now?

I miss my balance ball too! It met an untimely death due to children playing on it. 🙁 Saving up for another one.
Good job getting back on track with menu planning. I know when I have that in place, not only do we eat better, but I feel less frazzled because I don't have to do any extra thinking!
