It is Mamavation Monday time again!
What did I do last week? I got in three bike rides last week. Not my planned five but I will take the three.
My challenge this week: I am going to plan more bike riding this week and see if I can start the Body Gospel back up. The later may happen mid-week when my classes are done.
Results so far: So that pound I gain a couple of weeks ago is gone! Woohoo! I also went through my closet last night and pulled out a pile of clothes to go to the consignment shop this week because they are all TOO BIG!
So what is next for me? To keep active … active is good for me. When I am not active, I maintain which will be good at some point but not yet. I did buy myself a couple of suits for a big work conference I have to attend in November … a size down. They were a super 50 cent bargain at a thrift shop that was moving! A name brand, like new suits at price is what fits in my budget and not I need them to fit me come November. So that is my BIG challenge. For me, this is more than the weight loss I report each week because overall I am only down four pounds but I am down 1-2 clothing sizes (depending on what it is I am wearing). So I know progress is possible and for me clothes fitting is a good visual and goal!
Keep leaving me comments and telling me to move my butt. I have that bridesmaid dress to fit in too!

OH great job last week beth!
I can't wait to be able to get rid of clothes because they are too big! Most of my stuff, I can still wear! I hate that, but it will change soon! 🙂
You're doing great, and how cool is your thrift store fine!!
ROOOOOOOOCK ON!

I think it's very wise of you to use something other than the numbers on the scale to base your success. Those numbers can sometimes be tricky on our self-esteem. 🙂 You are doing fabulous! And I'm glad you found a great deal on the suits – hopefully they won't be too big come November 😉

I miss thrift stores that only charge 50 cents for items… The majority-church-run-thrift stores here think that used jeans are worth $10!! Please! I can get new at walmart for $18 sooooo I don think so! When my parents divorced we had a great thrift store that my mom used to go from zero business clothes (ret-mil) to a full wardrobe for less than $20!
I have a pair of A&F size 12s that I got for $1 at goodwill that are my next 'goal' skinny pants… after that it's my size 11 Lucky Brand Jeans (also $1!!!)…
Good luck slimmin down this week!

I can't wait to purge my closet as well! And hey, 3 out of 5 workouts isn't bad at all. I really like that you are aware that it's not always about losing lbs. Feeling great and shrinking sizes is great, too! Congratulations and I look forward to hearing of your successes next week!
