Friday Favorites is another weekly feature here at Simply Living on a Budget. The whole point of this feature is to share some of my favorite finds. Anything is game. Food. Cleaning supplies. Kid stuff. Garden favorites. Recipes. Anything that I really like and want to randomly post about. Everything in Friday Favorites is something that I use and bought on my own.
I realized I had a lot of kid related Friday Favorites lately so here is a non-kiddo one!
Over 100 years ago, tea planters brought their finest ancestral tea bushes from China and India to Wadmalaw Island near the historic old city of Charleston, South Carolina. Now the direct descendants of these very plants have been lovingly restored to their former grandeur here at the Charleston Tea Gardens®, a lush subtropical tea farm. It is in this context of great natural beauty and colonial pride that we bring you American Classic, a noble blend containing tea from America’s only tea garden. The fresh smooth flavor of American Classic has made it a Southern favorite for many years.
My review …
This is one of my favorite teas. It is low in caffeine which is nice. It is a light tea which is sometimes hard to find. I like the bags are just the tea bags now and can go right into my compost bin! About once a year, I order a case of this from the Bigelow site and get so excited when it come. I hear that if you live in South Carolina that you can find this in this grocery stores though so if you are in that area, look for it!
They now offered flavored varieties too. I admit I haven’t tried these yet but will add them to my wish list!;)
Besides all of that … isn’t it nice to buy something grown here in the US?!
If you have a suggestion for a Friday Favorite, leave me a comment and let me know.
