It is Mamavation Monday time again! What did I do last week? I kept up the EA Sports Active 30 day challenge. We also did the UVA Walk for Kids on Saturday. It was a three mile walk that was pitched as a flat course. It was any BUT flat. We still made it. My husband pushed the girls in the Baby Jogger (about 60 lbs of kids plus the stroller!) and I babywore (that is the past tense of babywearing, right??) 23 lb Little Dude the whole walk. whew.
My challenge this week: I am going to FINISH with the 30 day Challenge on the EA Sports Active! This coming Saturday is my last workout. I am excited to finish it and am deciding what is next.
Results so far: Even after that KILLER walk on Saturday, I am disappointed to report I am up two pounds which puts me back to my starting weight. ugh. That being said, I know my level of fitness is improving every single day. I also know that my smaller clothes are still fitting so good stuff is happening even if that freakin’ scale is still annoying me weekly.
So what is next for me? My husband and I are coming up with a plan that is going to involve kicking it up for both of us. We both admitted this morning that we are great at maintaining weight but aren’t at the weight we want to maintain. So we will be working on how to get into a good weight loss mode but are going to work towards being really smart about it!

I think that is awesome how you have almost finished that challenge on the Active.
And about the scale, when I was losing, it wouldn't really move for like 2-3 weeks and then it would drop down significantly. That was just how my body gave up weight. You may have a similar pattern. Watch it and track it to see if there is a pattern and then you won't get so frustrated.

Are you mindful of your food, are you journaling? Extra calories sneak in on us sometimes when we don't realize it. I hope you find your next challenge.

Remember Leah said when you start working out more, you have some muscle swelling. Keep it up and you'll see a difference! THe fact that your clothes are fitting differently is a good sign!
