It is Mamavation Monday time again!
What did I do last week? I kept up the EA Sports Active 30 day challenge. Some days it kicks my butt, other days I feel like I did OK with it. This morning, it kicked my butt.
My challenge this week: I am going to keep going with the 30 day Challenge on the EA Sports Active. On my rest days with that, I want to be sure to get in a good activity too. I have been OK with that part but not 100%.
Results so far: This week I am down half a pound. It seems like nothing but at the same time I know it is the right direction. Maybe that slow walk with the girls last night handing out flyers to neighbors helped!;) (Boy were their little legs tired!!)
So what is next for me? More working out. I hope to make a few more trips around our street this week to up my walking. We are still planning on participating as a family in the UVA Walk for Kids on June 5th. It is a 3 mile fund raising walk for the UVA Children’s Hospital. I need to be able to do that walk with ease since the three kids will be with us! Check out the details here and if you wish to donate to help sponsor my walking. (My husband is walking too!)
Mamavation #4 is still going! Congratulations to Kim (@mentallyinked) and Rachel (@Rachel_L) for their hard work so far. Go follow them on Twitter. They are both tons of fun and as expected are totally rockin’ this Mamavation Mom gig!
Mamavation TV is tonight! Here are the details.

Congrats on the loss no matter what it is! Walking with our kids is some of the best exercise we can do… it also great to show them how fun fitness can be!

Good luck on your walk! I'm not sure if I could do it while trying to deal with my child! haha
Great job on the 1/2 pound. You have to start losing SOMETHING to reach your goal. So, no matter how small the loss is, it's still just that A LOSS.
I know it's hard to remember that, especially when we have been working our butts off and keeping our promises to do this and that. Just think each little pound or partial pound loss is all adding up to the big picture.
When I worked in sales and set really high quotas for myself, my boss reminded me to stop focusing on the large picture, but to break it down! This applies with weight loss as well!
Sorry for the book I have written you 🙂 I hope you have an AWESOME week!
