It is Mamavation Monday time again! What did I do last week? I got in three work outs with the elliptical. I didn’t get in my weekend work outs because was gardening. The blister on my thumb should be worth something, right?
My challenge this week: I plan to keep up the working out with Squeaky, my elliptical, this week three to four times. I am keeping the resistance at a three this week. I have to finish my gardening too. I have mums to transfer and then lettuce to move to new pots. I am so excited about this lettuce we are growing!!
Results so far: I have said before I am stuck. I am really stuck. My body seems to like this weight. I don’t. I know am toning and losing inches. I went out this week to get some smaller capris and they didn’t have any in the size I wanted. I ended up with a skort the next size down. (It was a bargain at only a quarter at one of the local thrift shops!) I got home and I fit in that sucker. It was tight but I zipped it up. I couldn’t believe it. So I am losing it in my butt and hips but not on the scale. I figure by June when it is short wearing weather for sure, I will wearing that cute little skort!
So what is next for me? My plan now is to keep doing what I am doing for now. Come May, our family schedule changes again as my husband will be done student teaching and be back at home with the kids. I need to figure out how I am going to change my routine then but I will wait until then to change. That gives me a few weeks to figure out how to I am going to shake my routine up but keep moving in the mean time.

I know the feeling Beth. My "stuckness" is totally related to my eating though. Keep your chin up and things will turn around.

I saw a red flag with the keep doing the same thing comment until I read you are planning to change it up when your family's schedule changes soon. Good luck with the plotting. In the mean time is there anything you can do differently with your diet before you get to alter your time commitments with your workouts? Good luck and I know you will smash through your plateau.
See you tonight at the party.

The stuckness feeling has been my downfall each time I have worked on my weight. Keep pushing and when things change dont let you slip through the cracks!

Good luck with the change in schedule…maybe that is what your weight loss needs too…sometimes I switch it around to get myself out of a plateau.

I love squeaky! We are going to do a week on getting moms to garden their own fruits and veggies. I think it will be week 3 and I would LOVED to have you around more to talk about it on twitter. XXOO
