Do you have a bread machine? Do you have a recipe that you love? If you do, let me know!
In an effort to continue to be thrifty, I bought a bread machine (used from eBay to go with the thrifty-ness!) I figured one to three months of bread making and not bread buying will pay for it. The user manual has a set of recipes in it and I see a few I am liking but I figure some of my great readers might have some favorite recipes to share!
If you have a recipe to share, leave it in a comment or email me at simplybudgeted at gmail.com! I will give your recipe a try and if it is loved, post about it here. I plan to show off my bread making … OK my ingredient combining in the bread machine skills in the coming months right here so get ready for some drooling over yummy bread pictures!;)

I use my bread machine all the time! Depending on ingredients and if you can get them in bulk, most loaves are around $1/loaf. My recipes are on my recipe blog: http://onpansandkneadles.blogspot.com/search/label/bread

Thanks for sharing Heather. We already buy most ingredients in bulk so I know this will be a money saver for us!

Hi Beth,
I LOVE my bread machine I have had it about 1 1/2 yrs now and I still us it at least 1X week. But my favorite recipe has to be for dinner rolls that you have to bake in the oven Head on over to Pioneer Women's website tasty kitchen and the dinner rolls bread machine recipe along w/PW's rosemary dinner rolls = my own personal heaven here on earth. I acually just made these for a bake sale and the women who bought them asked for the recipe. Enjoy

then use this recipe for cooking them in the oven

I use my bread machine fairly often but only for mixing the dough. I seem to have better results when I do the actual baking in the oven.
Here is one recipe I make a lot. It's very easy, a copycat recipe of Macaroni Grill Bread.
Macaroni Grill Bread
1 cup water
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 1/2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select white bread cycle; press Start.
My notes: Or use bread machine ‘dough’ setting and take out of machine. Place on corn meal coated baking sheet, score top and oil slightly. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes and reduce heat to 350 for 30 minutes. Brush with egg white wash and cook for another 5 minutes.

OMG I love Macaroni Grill Bread. We don't have one here but they are up in Northern VA. I would eat the bread when I went there and take my food home as leftovers. I can't wait to try this.
Thanks for the other links. I have used my machine TWICE so far. I am in LOVE. shhhh, don't tell my husband I said that!;)
