Do you remember post about end of season sales? It was awhile ago but here it is.
I wanted to put out a reminder to go shop the after Valentine’s sales. I know you are going to say you don’t need chocolate or decorations for Valentine’s day. That is probably true but I bet you will be surprised what you can find!
Look for cards that you can use next year.
Check expiration dates. You might be able to buy baking candy for Christmas or even for Valentine’s next year! (The candy canes I bought after this past Christmas expire in 2011!)
I love heart stuff so I found some great towels at Target a few Valentine’s ago. One hangs in my powder room all year since it goes so nicely with my other towels in there! Shhh, don’t tell anyone!
I also found great paper plates and napkins on sale one year. They were pink with a cupcake on them. Perfect for a little girl’s birthday party!!
If need a new wreath for your door, silk flowers or red paper for a craft project, then go get them now for when you need them. Shopping after seasons and holidays is one of the best (and easiest) ways to save in your budget!
Plus remember red Valentine’s items (maybe plates?) and green St. Patrick’s day items (maybe cups?) would make for a bargain Christmas party the end of the year!!
Leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite after Valentine’s day sales are or where you like to shop for after holiday sales!

I work retail so, I always check the after any holiday sales & other markdowns. It saves so much money to do this.
