"Beth Week" Announcement!

I am excited to start promoting my next blog event. This event is a personal event for me but I love the reasons behind it. I will be hosting “Beth Week” here from February 8th to 14th.

What is “Beth Week”? Beth Week was born six years ago when my husband and I eloped on February 10th. I hear the mummers now … they eloped?! Yup, we sure did. My husband was getting ready to deploy to Iraq and we wanted to make sure that my name was on his Army paper work so we eloped. We had to cancel our wedding plans but were thankfully able to have a big “wedding” celebration the next year with our family and friends. Plus, I got to wear that beautiful dress I had already bought!;) So we have our wedding anniversary on February 10th. My birthday is February 12th. And well we all know that Valentine’s Day is February 14th. So with all of that love and gift giving celebration happening in six short days, my husband dubbed it “Beth Week”.

After New Year’s each year, I get really excited because I know “Beth Week” is coming. We don’t do a lot for it … we are on a tight budget, ya know?! But my husband makes it special each year. “Beth Week” is a known event among my family and friends so why not take it to the blogging world!

Now “Beth Week” here on Simply Living on a Budget will be a ladies event. So products for ladies with exception being that stuff that just sounds yummy (food wise or other wise!) will be the focus of this event. “Beth Week” is only February 8-14!
