After I caught up on Elf on the Shelf yesterday posting the three days I missed (the kids were watching The Polar Express for the third time since school got out on Friday), I missed posting last night. Instead of sitting here typing about yesterday being baking day or even posting the Mint Chocolate Cracker Recipe I want to post, I went to the wrapping dungeon (i.e., the basement). I was up until after midnight wrapping presents. Not just our presents as some presents are sent here unwrapped. Brian joined in the fun after he got back from a last minute Walmart/Redbox return run. ahhh.
Anyway yesterday, Kingston was in the kitchen next to the new Cat’s Meow naivety. I would like to claim that it was because he knew it was baking day and we would be in the kitchen a lot but that won’t be true. I woke at 5am not being able to breath (thanks kids for this never ending stuffiness … next year please skip my get mommy sick gift, please?!) What do you do when you wake up at 5am? Immediately panic because you know, you just know the Elf on the Shelf wasn’t moved. Sure Brian came to bed after me but I knew the Elf was still wearing his Tooth Fairy wings. DARN IT!!
So there it is. Another last minute move for Kingston. How is the The Elf on the Shelf
