So after deciding to not post about yesterday’s Elf on the Shelf position, we also failed to move said Elf on the Shelf. I really need the magical version that moves itself. If you find one, can you let me know?
So panic over the Elf on the Shelf set in at 3:30am. Why was up at 3:30am you ask? Sophie woke up and woke me up. I tucked her in with blankets and a pillow on the couch and then panicked. It was at that moment, I realized I didn’t move the Elf and she would get up before I could even open one eyeball to look for him. So I ran to the kitchen and stood there spinning in circles trying to figure out where to put him. We have used almost all of the high places in the kitchen but it was the only room she couldn’t see me from the couch. I HAD to find a spot and I HAD to find a spot before she decided to get up and hunt for me. This was the best I could do …
Brian gave me the questioning eye look when the kids showed him the Elf on the Shelf location this morning. I shrugged and said “It was a 3:30 am panic.” He understood.
I already moved the Elf for tonight. I plan on taking the maximum recommended dosage of cold medicine tonight (the night time version to be exact) so there will be no time for a panic middle of the night relocation tonight … did you move your Elf on the Shelf yet? If not, go move him! 😉
