Today is Sophie’s Birthday. Did you catch that yet? Last year our Elf on the Shelf decorated for her birthday. This year I am just plain too tired to spend hours decorating on behalf of the Elf on the Shelf! If I spend hours decorating, I want the credit! LOL
We spent last night making Sophie’s new trampoline that was one of her birthday presents. I wanted to tape Kingston to the ceiling like he had been jumping on the trampoline and got stuck. Brian was a party pooper (OK, a realist) and said he wouldn’t stick. So he put Kingston up on the fan above the trampoline. See him?

Matthew informed me that we can not turn the fan on today. Thanks, Matthew … I did realize that. I guess he has at least part of physics figured out at age three and the engineer part of me should be proud of that!

I think that the Elf on the Shelf is funny! I do not have one, but I have seen other bloggers putting their Elf on the Shelf in very funny places. I like the decorations for your daughters Sophie’s birthday! Happy Birthday Sophie!
