It is starting to get cold here in Virginia which means it is time to pull out pants for the fall wardrobe. I quickly realized that Matthew had no pants with elastic waistbands. Since he is just potty trained, we know that zippers and snaps on pants are a not a challenge that he needs right now so I was on a mission to find elastic waistband pants for him. Back to my finding elastic waistband pants mission … I wanted to confirm I was getting Matthew the right size pants since he keeps growing on me so fast. I used the Alva Kids Sizing Guide to confirm in two short steps that he needed a size 4!
I was able to find four great pairs of pants for him as I shopped around the website. They were all great deals for a boy that will get super messy and dirty! Plus all of the pants and the sought after elastic waistband!
I knew that he wouldn’t be interested in the pants so I decided to add in the cute Snow Lion Beanie that I found on their website too. Matthew is loving The Lion King right now so I knew this hat would be a hit with him.

Now for how it all fits. I will say first it all fits little man great. I am thrilled the results of the Alva Kids Sizing Guide! However, I failed to think about getting a three year old boy to model clothes for me to take pictures of these great new pants. So I had to call in some back up … the dinosaur toys!!
These are the Mad Game “Border Stripe” Track Pants. I actually ordered these in two colors and am glad I did. These are Matthew’s favorite with the colored stripes down the sides!
My favorite pants are the Cherokee “Sgt. Major” Sweatpants. I love the feel of the inside of these pants and the look of the white drawstring on them. They fit him really nice and will be great with some of his long sleeved dinosaur t-shirts!
The Roadblock “No Sweat” Sweatpants have four pockets. Matthew took the time to check them out all out and count them for me. Then he put on his lion hat and went a little crazy playing dinosaurs! I had lost his attention by this point but he looked so cute in this hat I had to just smile at him!
