I was out in Chicago last week for the Society of Women Engineer’s Conference (bet ya didn’t know I was an engineer, huh?) Anyway, the one tourist thing I did was the Chicago Architecture Foundation River Cruise! It was pricey for cheap, budget-minded me but I have no idea if I will ever make it back to Chicago so I felt I need to be a tourist at least once. It was cold on that boat but it was beautiful. I am glad I spent the money to see the great buildings of Chicago!
Let us know where your Wordless Wednesday is so we can come leave a comment …
Leave us a comment and let us know if you have visited Chicago or maybe even if you live there among this great architecture!
Great photos. I’ve never been to Chicago but I hope to get there some day.
I have never been to Chicago, but it looks beautiful! What a bright blue day! I’m glad you got to do it.
I love all the cool buildings in Chicago

I love visiting Chicago – so many fun places to go and things to see!
I miss Chicago! I could go there once month and be happy as a clam!
I went to Chicago once and didn’t get to do the architectural cruise. I’ve always wanted to go back and do it
I wanna go! Haven’t been to Chicago since my junior class trip. That was so long ago I don’t even want to tell you what year. LOL
What a beautiful city! We might go someday!
Never been but those buildings are wonderful, thanks for sharing!
Never been to chicago but want to go! Looks great.
I love photos of a city skyline very nice.
I’m glad you got to enjoy the view. I’ve never been to Chicago.
I went to Chicago for a few hours in August and I want to return so I can see the rest of Downtown Chicago.
I’ve taken that boat tour before. Definitely an amazing one!
Great photos! I LOVE the city. If you DO come back, you’ll have to let me know. We can meet up and do some other fun stuff (and with some notice I might be able to get tickets for at a better budget lovin price for stuff)
I love Chicago, hope we get to visit again soon.
That would be so neat!
It’s stunning! Other than driving through or layovers, I’ve never been to Chicago.
