Meet Kathryn Borel, bon vivant and undutiful daughter. Now meet her father, Philippe, former chef, eccentric genius, and wine aficionado extraordinaire. My thoughts …
I am loving this book. I admit I am only half way through it. I have been reading it as I work out on Squeaky, my elliptical. (See a Mamavation post for details!) I haven’t been using Squeaky as much the past two weeks so I am a tad behind on finishing this book but am excited to get back to it this week.
I love books that tell a story that takes you are on a journey. This book is written just like that. I feel like I am there … well until I lose my balance on Squeaky and then I am jolted back to reality and realize I am NOT in Italy tasting amazing wines and listening to Kathryn argue with her dad! If you love a good read, you will love this book. If you love wine, you will drink up this book. Remember summer is coming soon and this would be a great book to add to your summer reading list!;)

    I'd love to go to Greece. The scenery is amazing from the pictures I've seen (I love Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants just for that!)
    I'd take my hubby if I could get him to fly that far/long.

  38. I have been fortunate to travel to a lot of exciting places. One place I would love to go back to is Thailand, and then also go over to Vietnam while I am there. I would go with my husband who also loves Southeast Asia.
