“What three favorite family Thanksgiving traditions have you passed or will pass on to your children?”
1) The family recipes are one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving and a tradition I hope my kids continue one of these days. From the family recipes that include corn custard, gummy stuffy, and pumpkin pie … I love it and can’t wait to continue to share these recipes with our kids as they get older.
2) The Macy’s Thanksgiving day is a Thanksgiving tradition that I love. I used to love sitting in front of the TV on Thanksgiving day watching the parade while the yummy smells came out of the kitchen. Grace and I watched the parade last year. I can’t wait to watch it with both of the girls this year. I can hear it now … “Hello Santa! Hello Santa!”
3) A full house is a thankful house and a tradition we love! A day with family is the best part of Thanksgiving. We have hosted Thanksgiving at our house for a few years now and it is a blessing to have parts of both of our families come. We love when there are too many for our dining room table and we pull out the card table and folding chairs. We love the living room being full of stuffed family members thanks to my husband’s great cooking as they talk and watch football. What we love the most of about thanksgiving is most definitely that we get to be thankful for our families and celebrate with them!
